Press kit: Vital, readiness and sleep for iPhone

Vital in one line

Vital turns your Apple Health data into one clear daily picture: how ready you are, how you slept, how hard you trained and how you’re fuelling it.

About Vital

Each morning Vital gives you a readiness score from your sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate and recent training, compared with your own usual. On a night with no heart reading, it estimates readiness from your sleep, a short check-in and recent training, and marks it as an estimate. Vital works with or without an Apple Watch.

Sleep shows last night against the sleep you need, with your trend over 7, 30 and 60 days. Log sets and reps in a tap, and follow your workout live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Food, drinks, mood, weight and supplements log from one place.

Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen keep the day in view. Siri answers “What’s my readiness in Vital?”

V reads Vital’s view of your day and answers your questions on your iPhone. Ask V needs iOS 26 or later on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on and the model available. Chats are in English for now.

You choose what Vital reads from Apple Health, and your health data is never used for advertising.

Vital is for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
